🖤 Meet Suge Flight — The Boss of the Colony

Yo. My name is Suge Flight, but around here, everyone just calls me Suge. 😎

I’m an 11-year-old Cremino sugar glider, and let me tell you something right away…

I run a tight ship.

I’ve been around longer than everybody else, and as the first and oldest glider in my family, I’ve earned my place at the top. 👑🐾

Some people say I have a little bit of a gangster personality.

I don’t know anything about that.

I plead the fifth. 😎

🖤 The Original Boss

I was the very first glider to join my family, and after all these years, my Papa and my family still absolutely adore me.

I’m not necessarily the guy who wants to sit around and cuddle all day.

I’ve got more important business to handle.

Protecting my colony. 🛡️

I like knowing what’s going on around me. I watch everything. I keep an eye on my family. I make sure everybody is where they’re supposed to be.

And if something—or someone—I don’t recognize shows up?

Well…

Let’s just say introductions aren’t exactly my specialty. 😂

Apparently, I have a reputation for making it VERY clear when another glider isn’t invited to my party.

🚗 The Great Oregon-to-Texas Escape

My family and I have quite the travel story.

I made the 37-hour journey from Oregon to Texas with Mama, Nibbler, Meatball, Sweetie, and Mocha.

You’d think after traveling that long, we’d be tired.

You’d be wrong.

Somewhere around San Antonio, we decided our cage was feeling a little too much like a cage.

So…

WE ESCAPED. 🐾💨

For the final two hours of the trip, we turned that car into absolute chaos.

Six sugar gliders.

One car.

One very long road trip.

And absolutely zero interest in following the rules. 😂

I’m pretty sure everyone involved remembers that day.

⛓️ My Great Bracelet Adventure

I also have a little hobby that keeps my family entertained.

I like grabbing my bracelet—with its little chain attached—and wrapping that chain around basically EVERYTHING in my cage.

Toys?

Wrapped.

Objects?

Wrapped.

Anything remotely chain-worthy?

Consider it captured. 😂

Nobody really knows why I do it.

I don’t explain my methods.

I’m a professional.

❤️ My Family

I’ve been lucky enough to have a wonderful family of my own.

Mama is one of my wives, and so is Nibbler. ❤️

And then there’s my son, Sprocket.

My family means everything to me, and even though I like to act tough, there’s a whole lot of love underneath that tough-guy exterior.

Especially when it comes to my Papa.

I absolutely love my him. 🖤

🐾 Me and Meatball

Meatball and I used to be together, but as he grew up, he eventually moved in with Delilah.

We’re not living together anymore, but Meatball will always be an important part of my story.

After all, that’s my boy. 💙

These days, he’s got his own life with Delilah, & Samson, and I’ve got my colony to look after.

Everybody has their place.

I’m the original.

I’m the oldest.

I’m the protector.

I’m the mealworm connoisseur.

I’m the wheel runner.

I’m the guy who watches everything.

I’m the guy who turns a bracelet chain into a full-scale cage construction project.

And yes…

I’m a little bit of a gangster. 😎

But underneath all that tough-guy attitude is a little Cremino sugar glider who has spent 11 years loving his family.

I was the first.

I may be the oldest.

And I’ll always be one of the most important members of this family.
